Umbrella Liability

When your liability limits run out.

An umbrella policy is liability only. It does not cover your house, your car, or anything you own. What it does is sit on top of the liability limits already on your auto and home policies and keep paying after those run out. If a claim against you goes past what your auto policy will pay, the umbrella picks it up from there.
